 PATRIOT DAY September 11th 2006

A proclamation by the President of the United States of America.
On the fifth anniversary of the attacts of September 11, 2001, we recall the fire and horror at the twin towers of hte World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a Pennsylvania field. America will always remember the thousands of innocent lives taken by the enemies of freedm that morning.
In the face of these unspeakable attacks, we are reminded that the great strength of America is found in the hearts and souls of our citizens. We witnessed firefighters, police officers, other public safety officials, and ordinary Americans demonstrate extraordinary courage, risking their lives to save innocent victims. We saw our country united in passion as Americans came together to provide relief and bring hope to others.
The events of Septemeber 11th 2001, will always be a defining moment in our history. We hold the victims and their families in our hearts, and we lift them up in our prayers. By a joint resolution aproved December 18th 2001 the Congress has designated September 11 of each year as "Patriot Day"
Flags are to be flown at half staff, apprprite ceremonies, and a moment of silence starting at 8:46 a.m. eastern daylight time......

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS,
ONE NATION UNDER GOD,
INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY FOR ALL

THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER

O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say. does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

PLEASE REMEMBER THEM....

 " Where Were You" ( 9-11)

I remember on this morining getting woke up by a phone call from my sister, and asked if I had been watching the news, I told her no that I had been a sleep. I was working nights for the school and I was in the habit of sleeping in the morning. I turned on the tv and watched. Minutes later I saw the second plane fly into the second tower. All I could do was watch, and wonder just like everyone else. After I watched the towers fall I called my reserve unit to see if we have to check the alert roster, make contact with everyone in the unit, the order had not been given to do so, I told Jennifer when it happens let me know I will come in and help do it. Later that day I went to work, to go clean the school. When I got there I was told I didn't have to stay if I didn't want to.
All activities were cancelled for that night. 1/2 hour after school got out the building was empty except for me. I thought about going home but I knew they were going to have school the next day and some how everyone would learn that life must go on and the next day teachers would have a class full of students wondering and asking questions.

Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day
Out in the yard with your wife and children
working on some stage in LA
did you stand there in shock at the site of
that back smoke rising against that blue sky
did you shout out in anger
in fear for you neighbor
or did you just sit down and cry

Did you weep for the children
who lost their dear loved ones
and pray for the ones who don't know
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble
and sob for the ones left below

Did you burst out in pride
for the red white and blue
the heroes who died just doing what they do
did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer
and look at yourself to what really matters

I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
the difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
and I remember this from when I was young
faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
and the greatest is love

Where were you when the world stopped tuning that September day
teaching a class of innocent children
driving down some cold interstate
did you feel guilty cause you're a surviver
in a crowded room did you feel alone
did you call up your mother and tell her that you love her
did you dust off that bible at home
did you open your eyes and hope it never happened
close your eyes and not go to sleep
did you notice the sunset the first time in ages
speak with some stanger on the street
did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow
go out and buy you a gun
did you turn off that violent old movie you're watching
and turn on I Love Lucy reruns
did you go to a church and hold hands with a stanger
stand in line and give your own blood
did you just stay home and cling tight to your family
thank God you had somebody to love

I'm just a singer of simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
the diffence in Iraq and Iran
but I know Jesus and I talk to God
and I remember this from when I was young
faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
and the greatest is love

I'm just a singer fo simple songs
I'm not a real political man
I watch CNN but I'm not sure I can tell you
the diffence in Iraq and Iran
but I know Jesus and I talk to God
and I remember this from when I was young
faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
and the greatest is love

the greatest is love
the greatest is love

Song: Where were you (when the world stop turning)
By: Alan Jackson

I remeber the first time I heard this song on the radio I was driving down an empty highway about 4:30 am in the morning. I was in my Army Uniform on my way to the reserve center. I was getting near a farm house and the yard was a lit up with lights and hanging down from the top of the barn was the United States Flag, As the song came on my radio I stopped the car and got out as this song began to play. At that time I cried for those who lost there lives on that day.

Here is another song that I like to hear.......

Well if you ask me where I come from
here's what I tell everyone
I was born by God's dear grace
in an extraordinary place
where the stars and strips and the eagle fly

It's a big 'ol land with countless dreams
happiness ain't out of reach
hard work pays off the way it should
yeah, I've seen enough to know that we've got it good
where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

There's a lady that stands in a harbor
for what we believe
and there's a bell that still echoes
the price that it cost to be free

I pledge allegiance to this flag
and if that bothers you, well that's too bad
but if you got pride and you're proud that you do
hey we could use some more like me and you
where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

Yes there's a lady that stands in a harbor
for what we believe
and there's a bell that still echoes
the price that it cost to be free

No it ain't the only place on earth
but it's the only place that I perfer
to love my wife and raise my kids
hey the same way that my daddy did
where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly

Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly
where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly.

sing it or play with it again

After my whack job and a few short cummings on my last post thought I would add some more to it. Like some say bigger is better.
A man with an ego would change the words to he has the whole world in his hands to I have the whole world in my hands. His lover would think small things for small minds. I have seen bigger sticks come out of a box of tooth picks.

What did the penis say to the hand, got time for a quick one?

WHAT A PENIS MIGHT SING IF A PENIS COULD SING.....

Oh Lord it's hard to humble
when you're perfect in every way.
I can't wait to look in the mirror
cause I get better looking each day
to know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to humble
but I'm doing the best that I can
I use to have a girlfriend
but she just couldn't compete
with all these loved starved women
who keep clamoring at my feet.
Well I probably could find me another
but I guess they're in awe of me
who cares, I never get lonesome
cause I treasure my own company.
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
when you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
cause I get better looking each day
to know me is to love me
I must be one hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
but I'm doing the best that I can
I guess you could say I'm a loner
a cowboy outlaw tough and proud
I could have lots of friends if I want to
but then I wouldn't stand out from the crowd
Some folks say that I'm egotistical
hell, I don't even know what that means
I guess it has something to do with the way that I
feel out my skin tight bluejeans
Oh Lord its hard to be humble
when you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
cause I get better looking each day
to know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
but I'm doing the best that I can

To Sing or Not To Sing?

That is the question a male must ask himself while taking a shower.

50% of males sing in the shower also 50% of all males masterbate in the shower. So today walk up to some male you know and ask him what song he sang in the shower this morning. If he says he doesn't or didn't sing in the shower then you know what he was doing

Here is a small list of songs we might sing in the shower:

All by myself by Celine Dion
Stroke by Billy Squier
Whip it by Devo
Beat it by Michael Jackson.

Can you think of any others?

A motivation speaker once said in the shower, if you don't succeed the first time try....try...try again

What did the penis say to the Viagra pill.......Help I've fallen and can't get up.

Ok so to day is bump day maybe I hit my head one to many times today....
I think I'm going to go take a shower
