We are at the school waiting for Stanley....
No seems to know where he is, last seen was right before recess....

George Bush goes to a primary school to talk to the kids to get a little PR. After his talk he offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand and George asks him his name.

"Stanley," responds the little boy.

"And what is your question, Stanley?"

" I have 4 questions:
First, why did the USA invade Iraq without the support of the UN?
Second, why are you President when Al Gore got more votes?
Third, what ever happend to Osama Bin Laden?
Fourth, why are you so worried about gay-marriage when 1/2 of all Americans don't have health insurance?"

Just then, the bell rings for recess. George Bush informs the kiddies that they
will continue after recess.

When they resume George says, "Ok, where were we? Oh, that's right:
question time. Who has a question?"

Another little boy puts up his hand. George points him out and asks him his name.

"Steve," he responds.

"Actually, I have 6 questions.

Friday was the National Day to make a New Friend. I was busy yesterday so today I am making it Make a New Friend on Blogstream Day. I tagged Angie from 4 kids I must be nuts to see if we will become blogging friends. I picked because of some of the nice comments that I have seen her write on other peoples blog. Plus I like the title of her blog, kids and school buses go hand in hand. Without kids I wouldn't be able to drive a school bus.
So I left a comment on her last post, and signed her guest book. As soon as I finish writing this I am going to send her another message telling her that I wrote about her in my post, we will see if she comes over and rides the bus.
All I can do is try to make a new friend on make a new friend day.

Speaking of friends, one can not forget the one's he already has...so here's to my friends.......

Winter came this weekend, started with some rain, turning to snow.
We got about 6" total. Schools delayed in the morning and a couple did cancelled for the day. Then came some cold air. Monday the low was 5 below zero, warmed up to the teens, Tuesday we started the day at 3 below zero, high temp got to the high teens. Today we started this morning at 3 above. High temps later today should be in the low 20's. So everything outside is cold and frozen,

In the last two days we had three kids, that's right three kids.
One decieded to kiss a frosted window on a bus, her bottom lip got stuck on the bottom metal window frame. She tore off part of her bottem lip, that got to hurt.

A boy decided to lick a metal post of a fense, got part of his tongue and lip stuck, got lucky and didn't leave any skin behind. Once again that got to hurt.

The last one I don't know what he did, but he lost a good piece of his tongue,
they called his parents and sent him home so he could go to the doctor. That hurt and it's going to leave a mark.

This morning there is frost on the flag pole, and with the flag out it looks like a giant bomb pop. I love bomb pops! I think I am going to go have a few licks of the flag pole.
Maybe I will kiss it first

Just Stuff....

I been very busy, been working in a crawl space we call a tunnel. It goes under the school building. I have a water boiler and so I have water lines that run up and down the tunnel. I have a water pump for every classroom. I had a pump go bad right after the holidays, so we went down in the tunnel to fix.
I replaced one pump and you could tell another one was going bad so we replaced it. Found a small water leak and got it fixed. Then replaced light bulbs that have been burning out in the tunnel. The greesed all the pumps that were in the tunnels. I have a small cart that I roll around on down in the tunnel. It's been very hot and dirty work so haven't felt like being on the computer much. I have been reading peoples post and leaving comments.

With the holidays came the football over dose, I don't watch many games during the season but with playoffs and bowl game and food its easy to watch to much tube. Seahawks are in the playoffs, won the first game against the Cowboys, Playing Chicago on Sunday....we are expecting about a foot of snow here over the weekend......good time to set down and watch tv because once its done snowing,,,,,I will have a lot of snow to move.

By now 1/3 of all new years resolutions have been broken, mine can't really be broken, but it still hasn't happend yet. If you don't know what my resolution is just go look at my post Happy New Year or something like that anyway.

A few bus drivers have changed buses and so my schedule on the buses has changed a lot, There are days like to day I am not sure what bus or route I am driving I just know I wil be driving something.

Girl Scouts are selling cookies! Yum Yum. I got to get me a couple dozen or so. I buy box of cookies for each girl that asks me, last year I had 6 boxes of cookies. I think I am revealing my true self here....yep I could pass for the Cookie Monster on Seaseme Street.

Dixie seems to be the only one that talked about the toilet paper needs to go over the top, so I put the roll on going over the top. At least its a full roll for now,

I think that's about all the stuff I have for now, Even when I'm not posting I always read the comment and private messages you all send, and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
