Honk, Honk and Beep, Beep
Look at that someone is honking and laying on the horn at me!
What did I do? Then I notcie two young looking females, honking there horn and waving at me. I smile, two babes looking at me. I am such a stud. To bad there's not a good place for me to pull over and talk to them.
Another honk of the horn, now there flashing there head lights at me. I got to find a place to
pulll over. I might just get lucky. They continue to honk and wave and flash there lights at me. I have waved back many times, what do I see up on the right is a church parking lot.
I will pull in over there and see what happens. I turn on my turn signal to give plenty of notice. I wouldn't want to lose the two women, honking and waving at me know would I.
So pull into the church parking lot and I see they follow....what do I say?
I pull to a stop and put down my window, the one closest to me smile...........
"You forgot to put your gas cap back on when you filled up".
"Thank you" I say.
and with that they dove off

Today is National Teacher Day,
I left a comment on my own blog and thought it would make a good post.
I remember one of my bus drivers....Mr. Allen
He would drive me home everyday around noon, I was in school only half a day.
He would take me out in country to my Grandma's house and I was the last drop on the route.
He would park the bus on the side of the road, we had to wait for my Grandma to leave work at lunch time so she could pick me up and take me to my Great Grandma house , and then she would return to work. What I remember most is setting on the bus waiting. Mr Allen would get off the bus and go pick two apples for us to eat as an after school snack.
Those where the best apples....
Well my Great Grandma has past away, so has Mr. Allen. My Grandma sold the farm and moved many years ago. When I get to drive one of the routes it takes me out past the old farm. It has changed a lot, but that apple tree is still there. Yes I have stopped once or twice and had an apple...

teacher an educator, tutor, instructor, master, mistress, governess, educationist, precepter,
coach, mentor, guru, counsler, substitute teacher......

I find it fitting to have Nation Teacher Week the week before Mother's Day,
aren't some Mothers good teachers....

Oh lets not forget anyone who works for a school, from the custodians, cooks,
my fave...busdriver! They all work in the field of education...

Last night with the spring air, and watching the last few days everything is really
starting to turn green. Hearing the thunderstrom moving in and the air smelling like rain.
Spring is the time of life, everything starts to grow. Trees and grass that have been in there brown sleep mode have starting living again. Flowers are starting to come up. Spring the rebirth of life....
So last night I decieded it was time to take charge of my life, live it to the fullest. Take chances and live life on the edge. Live and love dangerously. If spring is the time of rebirth then this was mine, no holding back.......Then I hear this voice,

"Welcome to Dairy Queen, my I take your order?"
"I will take a medium vanilla cone please"
