 Busman can be a Jerk...

I went to a strip mall the other day, yes I said mall not bar or club.
I went to Factory Card Outlet to buy my Mother a birthday card. No don't go thinking I'm kind just because I bought my Mother a birthday card, we are not close at all. We live about 12 miles apart and I make sure I see her twice a year, I also call her about that often as well. As for the birthday card its about a month late, no I didn't forget her birthday, I always send her the card late.
It's a long story between us and I'm not going there now. It's bad enough that I went shopping (I hate shopping) and just to buy her a card.
So I'm at this strip mall and in a grumpy mood anyway, The stores had stuff set on there sidewalks for there sidewalk sale, it's not bad enought that they have all this junk insde the store but they put it on the sidewalk so you might want to buy more.
It was at that time I noticed that a car had pulled up a few spots from where I was, He (the drive) gets out of the car and hurrys to the sidewalk. I watch her get out of the car, open the trunk and get out the baby stroller. She goes to one side of the car opens the door and puts the baby in the stroller. Then she puts the diaper bag over the stroller handle bars, then she goes back to the other side of the car and pulls out another kid, looks like he is about the age where he might walk but not real well. She then holds him in one arm and steers the stroller with the other hand. Needles to say it looked very difficult to do, seemed to do pretty well. I would guess she has done this before.
I see her makeing her way up to Factory Card Outlet, these stores at the strip mall do not have automatic doors, so as she got closer I noticed he looked right at her and walk futher away.
So I made my way past her and opened the door for her, I was raised to do that by my Mother....did I mention her already? back to story. Oh by the way this is a true story.
As I stood there holding the door open for her, she smiled at me and said thank you. The smile she gave me said it all, her whole face seem to light up.
Thats when I noticed him makeing his way to the store, I pushed the door shut and stood in front of it, there I am looking at this guy. This is were it gets a little tricky because I can't remember all what I said or how I said it, I said something like, She's good enough for you to have sex with but you don't want to be seen with her and your kids.....Yes someday I am going to say the wrong thing to the wrong person and get my butt kicked.
However I did notice that when they left the store and went to the next one he was pushing the stroller and she was carring the other child,,,,,,
He is probably thinking...that guy was such a jerk...
By the way I didn't even go into Factory Card Outlet and buy the card,
Oh well maybe I will by her a birthday card and give it to her on Mothers day.

When Life is a Comic Strip.....

Have you ever seen a comic or comic strip and thought they were talking about you or someone you knew.......
I have a friend named Rodger, after high school he spent 4 years on active duty as an engineer. He went to a special school for explosives, he learned how to detenate hand gernades, land minds and many other things such as pipe bombs and car bombs. After active duty he went into the National Gaurd and started going to college. Rodger spent one year in Korea while on active duty. He already been to Iraq once, and now he is on orders to go again and is set to deploy in June. Last time in Iraq he spent time in mind fields and checking cars for bombs.
This year to earn extra money he started driving for one of he local schools, he will be able to drive until the end of the school year, and he wishes he could leave earlier than that, he said the kids on the bus are driving nuts....
I can't wait to show Rodger that his life is a comic strip.......

 Back to Black

I am back to wearing red and black, our school colors.
Virginia Tech is back in school. Student Body president released this statement or something close to it. He has asked that the news camera and reports to please leave, they want to get on with there lives and have time in piece to do so.
Today is may be my last day driving Mason on bus 7. He goes to the doctor and in for some theropy and depends on how well he does or doesn't do.
Should know by Friday.
It's been nice driving him, I get to drive the bus in the morning and afternoon,
I have used less than a tank of gas a week in my car since I'm not driving to work and not driving anywhere to go pick up a bus. Real nice since gas prices seem to have rised since we set the clocks ahead an hour.
To be honest part of me wants to drive bus 7 rest of the year, look at the gas I am saving plus I am being paid overtime for it, I know I am being selfish.
The other part of me says if I don't have to drive him around anymore then he is making progress towards walking again with out his wheel chair, and that would be fine with me too. I will just have to wait until Friday.
I get to drive to a track meet this week, I like track and its great when I can set there and watch it and get paid for it.
That's about it for this Monday, may your Monday be good.

 changing colors.......

The school I work for school colors are red and black, the school provides me with a red shirt and black pants. I have enough red and black that I can go almost two weeks with out having to wash any of it. The neat thing about this is I don't have to worry or think about what am I going to wear today...I know a red shirt and it goes with black pants............
Today in Virginia they want everyone to wear Virginia Tech school colors to show respect for what took place earlier this week.....There school colors are
Chicago Maroon and Burnt Orange.
Today I changed my colors I am wearing an Orange Shirt couldn't find anything I have that is the color of Maroon, so I bought a Maroon colored ribbon and made a bow and pinned it to my shirt, my pants are blue jeans.
My heart goes out to all the parents, students and anyone who has connections to Virginia Tech and the state of Virginia.
If you want to see a real awsome post on Virginia Tech go to Venus Vexed and visit Six.....Her post is titled Perspective. If you have seen anyone else that has posted stuff for Virginia Tech let me know I will be glad to go read it.

 Every Guys Dream.....

I stopped to smell my friendship flowers that blueeyes sent me...

Don't they smell nice? Everyone should take time to smell the flowers.
Just as I was enjoying them I got ambushed by several friendship balls,
They came from Misty, Dixie and Lucy..........
So I decieded that it was time for a great game of dodge ball........
I tried to down load my balls and the computer said that they were to big!
