lets do it on the bus

 Albuquerque

Window walkin' downtown, feelin, mighty good
and I noticed from the corner how all alone she stood
underneath the lamplight, an angel in disguise
lonely little runaway with teardrop eyes

Crazy little ragdoll, her hair was wild and tossed
and I put my arm around her, cause I knew that she was lost
she didn't seem to notice that anyone was near
'till suddenly she turned to me and whispered in my ear

Point me in the direction of Albuquerque
I want to go home, and help me get home
point me in the direction of Alburquerque
I need to get home, need to get home

Showed me a ticket for a Greyhound bus, her head was lost in time
she didn't know who or where she was
"and anyone that helps me is a real good friend of mine"
Real good friend of mine

Point me in the direction of Albuquerque
and help me get home, help me get home

Walked her to the station and kissed away the tears
knowing I'd remember her through all the coming years
Ragdoll on that Greyhound who waved with all her might
weeped against the window as the bus rolled out of sight

Point me in the direction of Albuquerque
I want to go home, and help me get home
point me in the dircetion of Albuquerque
I need to get home, need to get home

Point me in the direction of Albuquerque
I want to go home, and help me get home
point me in the direction of Albuqerque
I need to get home, need to get home

Just some more songs from the Partridge family.

 PAINT THE BUS!

Poppy at Flower Child, she told me that I could come over and driver her VW Microbus anytime. A women that let's me drive
So I went over to Poppy's (flower child) and I got to see her VW Microbus.
I can't wait to take it for a spin..............As I was looking at her bus, it reminded me of another bus....
You got its the Partridge family bus, Lets paint the bus that color.
I thought about the Partidge family and I could remember some of the names:
Shirley
Keith
Laurie
Danny
However I couldn't remember the other two or the name of there manager.
I looked it up and I know the rest of them. Do you?

And who could forget.....

I was sleeping and right in the middle of a good dream
like all at once I wake up from something that keeps knocking at my brain
before I go insane I hold my pillow to my head
and spring up in my bed screaming out the words I dread
I think I love you

This morning I woke up with this feeling
I didn't kow how to deal with and so I just decided to myself
I'd hide it to myself and never talk about it
and did not go and shout it when you walked into the room
I think I love you

I think I love you so what am I afraid of
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for
I think I love you isn't that what life is made of
Though it worries me to say that I never felt this way

i don't know what I'm up against
I don't know what it's all about
I got so much to think about

Hey, I think I love you so what am I so afraid of
I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a lover there is no cure for
I think I love you isn't that what life is made of
though it worrieds me to say that I never felt this way

Believe me you really don't have to worry
I only wanna make you happy and if you day "hey go away" I wll
But I think better still I'd better stay around and love you
do you think I have a case let me ask you to your face
do you think you love me?

I think I love you
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)
I think I love you
(I think I love you)

I heard you, you were singing along!
I hope it is stuck in your head for rest of the day, just like it is in mine.
Don't even think you can call me Danny.

 Bump day...........

I am not responsible for where this post goes, so saying that you have all been warned. I have just spent the last hour and half digging threw the lunch trash of about 200 kids. One kid has lost his retainer and the last place he remembers having it was on the lunch table in a napkin. So my mind is in the trash......
My day started off with me being out and I came by a lady with her pussy out.
I thought for a second this is strange, I had to walk her way because that's the way the route goes and I would look pretty stupid if I just turned around now, after all I have already seen her pussy. When I got closer I couldn't help but to notice it was the biggest pussy I had ever seen. I told the lady I was sorry for looking at her pussy but it is the biggest one I have ever seen. She smiled and said thank you. She even told me that I could pet it if I wanted to. I thought about it for a second and thought its a very hairy pussy with long black hair and the biggest one that I ever saw, Being a male I couldn't pass it up. So I started to pet it and I notice how soft it seemed, After a few strokes I noticed her pussy really seemed to like it. I changed my angle to try something else, she said now you did it, you have found the right spot on my pussy. I couldn't believe that something that big could be so sensitive to touch. I have to wonder who or what she had been putting in that thing. After a few seconds more I couldn't help notice that her pussy was really getting into it. I told her I think your pussy would let me do this to it all day long, she said that she would like that very much. I told her I couldn't do it today, I had to go to work. She told me that if I had to go I should go but thanks for petting her pussy, My pussy enjoyed it. To all you ladies with big, hairy pussy you never know what a guy might think when you take your cat for a walk.....

 My Veterans Day

I got up at 04:00, hurried and got dressed, went and delivered my morning paper route. Finshed up around 04:45 drove out to the boy scout storage shed. I was the second one there, unlocked the shed and started pulling out American Flags. The boy scouts put out the flags on all Holidays, people donate money and for that money the boy scouts will come out on a holiday morning and put out the flag. This morning they wanted to get done sooner so they were looking for volenteers to help. So I helped.
After getting the flags all set up most of us went out to the cemetery, there the American Legion does a flag raising at "the wall" its a list of all who have served in the military and when they had served in the military that are burried there. This starts at 07:30, they play the national anthum, then the flag is raised,
then taps is played, then they have the 21 one gun salute. It finished around 0:800.
Then I jump into a truck and run to the cub scout warehouse to pick up popcorn that the cub scouts have sold for the money raising project.
Picked up a load of popcorn took to a storage area and unloaded the popcorn and got it ready for the scouts to pick up.
It is now 10:45 I get into my car and drive home, I have just enough time to take a quick shower and get cleaned up. Put on my suit and tie. Believe me I don't do this very often. I drive to St. Josephs Cemetery in Earling Iowa.
I attend the funeral of Lt.Col. Paul Finken who is Iowa's 46th Iowan to die in combat since 9-11-01. He was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
A military funeral on Veterans Day. I can't even tell you the emothions that I had or others had, none of the words I can think of seem to even come close.
I get home at 15:00....fifteen hundered or 3:00 Pm
Did a quick change and went and picked up the papers for the Sunday morning route. Our papers come in four sections, I pick up the 3 that are ready, the fourth comes Sunday morning. Its the front page and sports section so it doesn't come in until Sunday morning. I get them unloaded and start putting the togeather. I stop at 4:16 or 16:15...I goback to the boy scout shed and meet everyone we start taking down the flags we had put up this morning.
We take them all down before it gets dark and put them back in there storage.
After that is done I go back and finish putting the papers togeather. I get them loaded up in the car. Its now about 9:00 pm....anyone want to guess what time that is in the military? I set down grap a quick bite to eat and turn on the tube......My phone rings, It's my sister Lisa....
Lisa says I thought I would call and tell you happy Veterans Day.
I tell her thanks and then she asks do I miss it yet. There are some things I miss about it, and there others things I don't. Then she asked me what do Veterans do on Veterans day? I thought to myself and smiled as I said "nothing its our holiday". Then we talked for awhile about Thanksgiving and a few other family things. It's now 10pm and I called it a day because I get up at 1:30 Sunday morning to do my route.
You are dismissed........Oh and thanks for reading about my Veterans Day.
Take care and go fly a flag!

 OPERATION HUMP

Operation Hump
part of the Vietnam war

United States North Vietnam
Australia

Commanders
173rd Airborne Brigade Viet Cong

Strength
Total Force around 400 Fource around 1200

On November 5th 1965 the 173rd Airborne Brigade initiated Operation Hump
a reconnaissance in force in an area about 15 miles north of Bien Hoa.

On Novemeber 8th 1965 the 173rd Airborne Brigade on Operation Hump war zone D in Viet Nam were ambushed by over 1200 VC 48 Americans soldiers lost their lives that day, Severely wounded and risking his own life. Lawrence Joel a medic was the first living black man since the Spanish American war to receive the United States Medal of Honor for saving so many lives in the midest of the battle that day.

Nile Harris retired 25 years United States Army, one of the wounded who lived. This song is his story. Caught in the action of kill or be killed, greater love hath no man, than to lay down his life for a friend......

He said goodbye to his momma
as he left South Dakota
to fight for the red, white and blue
he was 19 in green with a new M-16
Just doin' what he had to do.

He was dropped in the jungle
where the choppers would rumble
with the smell of napalm in the air
then the sargeant said "look up ahead"

and like a dark evil cloud
1,200 came down
on him and 29 more
They fought for their lives
but most of them died
in the 173rd Airborne

On the 8th of November
the angels were cryin'
as they carried his brothers away
with the fire rainin' down
and the Hell all around
there were few men left standin' that day
saw the eagle fly,
through a clear, blue sky
1965, the 8th of November

Now he's 58
and his ponytails grey
but the battle still plays in his head
he limps when he walks
but he is strong when he talks
about the shrapnel they left in leg

He puts on a grey suit
over his airborne tattoo
he ties it on one time a year
and remembers the fallen
as he orders a tall one
and swallows it down with his tears

On the 8th of November
the angels were cryin'
as they carried his brothers away
with the fire rainin' down
and the Hell all around
There were few men left standin' that day
saw the eagle fly
through a clear, blue sky
1965, the 8th of November

Saw the eagle fly
through a clear blue sky
1965
On the 8th of November
the angels were cryin
as they carried his brothers away
with the fire rainin' down
and the Hell all around
There were few men left standin' that day
saw the eagle fly
through a clear blue sky
1965, the 8th of November

The 8th of November
The 8th of November

He said goodbye to his momma
as he left South Dakota
to fight for the red, white and blue
he was 19 in green with a new M-16
just doin' what he had to do.

SONG: THE 8TH OF NOVEMBER
